In an ongoing effort to streamline administration and increase efficiency of daily work, the firm recently provided staff with access to Bundledocs, specifically to ease the effort involved in bundling documents for real estate and corporate transactions as well as bundling the Affidavit of Documents for lawsuits.
Jeanine Wilson, a Real Estate & Corporate Clerk with the firm, jumped at the opportunity to try out Bundledocs. To date, she uses the cloud-based PDF bundling solution mostly for closing records and reporting letters after the end of real estate transactions, along with some corporate transactions as well. “The transformation from time intensive manual processes to now automated and cloud-based document bundling with less hang ups and errors has been amazing. Before Bundledocs, I would manually compile all the necessary enclosures, save them all as PDFs, merge them, manually create an index, and insert hyperlinks from the list that I've created to match with the index. Also, merging with DocuSign which we use was not an option in our existing process so that accounted for another manual step.”
Fast forward to working with Bundledocs and Jeanine has been saving time and streamlining the closing process. “I am now saving several steps because you can merge DocuSign documents … along with other popular files including Word, Excel, PDFs, etc. I haven't had any issues with the type of documents that I'm merging, and never have to double check that the documents are in the right format. Equally beneficial is the fact we can upload documents right from the NetDocuments cloud (our document management system) instead of having to initially save them to the desktop and then merge them. This way I am able to pull them right from NetDocuments based on the seamless Bundledocs integration.”
Another Bundledocs use case for Soloway Wright includes bundling the Affidavit of Documents, a book of all the documents that are relevant to a personal injury lawsuit. I can just go in and manipulate the title of a document or section, add /re-order documents, and regenerate, and I am good to go.”
