1. Worldwide Release of Bundledocs All Devices

2017 saw the worldwide release of our new responsive and mobile-friendly version of Bundledocs - Bundledocs All Devices. Making the move over to the latest version has been a huge success. As a 100% cloud based document bundling tool, Bundledocs allows you prepare and access your bundles from any device. Whether you need to work in the office, or on the move, Bundledocs will have the exact same look and feel. Work from your computer, laptop, iPad (or any tablet) or even your phone. It really couldn't be easier.

Learn more about Bundledocs All Devices, check out our 'Get Familiar with Bundledocs New Design' post.

Not interested in the cloud? Not to worry, Bundledocs is also available as an on-premise solution. Bundledocs On-Premise is server based and as such, does not slow down your pc or does not crash when working on large bundles. To learn more, touch base with our team today.

2. Unique Approach to OCR

Ensure your bundle is fully text searchable with our powerful OCR feature. Check out our post 'Can I OCR my Electronic Binder in Bundledocs? '. This takes you through the 3 steps to OCR your bundle using Bundledocs.

Did you know, Bundledocs have developed a unique and powerful approach to OCR. How does it work? The moment you upload a document into Bundledocs, it is automatically sent to the OCR queue. This is a great time saver if you build your bundles up over time, as it means your documents will be already OCR'd when it comes time to generate your final bundle. Bundledocs does the hard work, so you don't have to!

3. Handle Late Inserts with Ease

We've all been there, you have completed your bundle and shared it with everyone - only to find that documents need to be added at the last minute. What you need is a solution that allows you electronically add 'Late Insert' documents whilst not affecting the current index and page numbering already in place. That's where Bundledocs comes in.

Check out our 'Bundledocs Late Inserts Explained' post to learn more about our Late Inserts Feature works (it only takes 3 steps!).

4. Print Single or Double Sided

One of the great things about Bundledocs is it's not just for those wishing to make a move towards a paperless office. You choose how you want to present your bundle - whether as an electronic bundle or a printed hard-copy bundle.

Depending on your court requirements, you may be required to prepare your final bundle for either single or double sided printing. By default, Bundledocs prepares all bundles for single sided printing. However, you can easily change to print double-sided, if you want.

Check out our '3 Steps to Print Bundles Double Sided (Both Sides of the Paper) - Video' post to see how works. It even includes a quick video!

5. Generate your Bundle in a Zip File

If you need to securely share your bundle and case documents with others, then you're in luck. We have just the solution for you.

Our 'Generate as Source Zip' feature allows you to create a zip file for your bundle. It contains not only your completed PDF bundle but also all associated documents in their original format. Want to see it in action? Check out our 'Introducing Bundledocs Generate as Source Zip - Video' to see how it all works.

6. Securely Share Bundles

Bundledocs makes it simple to securely share your bundle with others. We also offer a range of collaborative features so you can work securely with anyone outside your organisation - or even use Groups to effortlessly work with your colleagues.

One of most widely used features is our Secure Share (Forward Bundle to Third Party) option. We have created a short video so you can see how it works. Check it out now!

Get Familiar with Bundledocs New Design

If you missed our recent post, Bundledocs announced that moving forward (from July 31st 2017) we will be developing all future releases on our modern and mobile-friendly version of Bundledocs - Bundledocs All Devices.

This is an exciting time for Bundledocs and the move will ensure that, for our customers, Bundledocs will work the same regardless of what device you are using - whether this is your desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile device.

Many of our users have already made the switch but for anyone that is unfamiliar with our responsive design, there is no need to worry. It still contains all the same features you know and love.

To help make the transition as seamless as possible, we have detailed what you need to know when moving to the latest version. As always, if you have any questions our team are here to help!

Preview your document in Bundledocs

To preview any document in Bundledocs, simply select the preview icon (as highlighted). This is located to the left of any document uploaded. Once selected, a window will immediately appear allowing you to quickly and easily view your document. This is great when working collaboratively on your bundle with colleagues or even outside counsel.

Move a single document

With Bundledocs you can easily arrange and re-arrange your documents by simply dragging and dropping files. To move a single document, select the file type icon, for example the PDF icon. Then drag into the correct position. Check out our 'How can I put my bundle in order in Bundledocs' post for more.

Move multiple documents at once

With the latest version of Bundedocs you also have the option to move multiple files at once. You choose the order in which you want to move your files. Then with our drag/drop place them where you want.

If you need to explore any of these features in more detail, our complete training guide can be downloaded at any time directly within your Bundledocs account. This is tailored specifically to the latest version of Bundledocs and contains everything you need to know.

Can I start page numbering for my bundle on a particular number? - Training Tip

Bundledocs_Training_Tip_Image.png

In today's post we will take a closer look at applying page numbering to your bundle. Let's dive right in!

The first thing to be aware of is that Bundledocs automatically adds numbering to your bundle, helping save you time and effort. This means you don't have to waste countless hour's tirelessly adding page numbering to your bundle.

Even better, if any changes are needed then you can effortlessly re-number your entire bundle with the click of a button. Simple!

One of the best parts of Bundledocs is that you have complete control of your bundle and can easily amend, change and customize your numbering at any time (and as many times as you need). We offer a range of different ways to customize the automatic numbering. These include:

  1. Restart Page Numbering: If you have created a bundle with multiple sections then you can choose to restart page numbering at the beginning of each new section.

  2. Include the Section Number: Again if you are creating a multiple section bundle you can choose to prefix the section number to your bundle numbering. For example: A.1 or 1.1

  3. No Numbering: As you know Bundledocs automatically numbers your entire bundle, however in some cases you may prefer to exclude the numbering entirely. In this case you can choose to remove numbering from appearing on your automatic index (did you know we automatically index the bundle too!) or from the pages themselves. This is all possible with the click of a button!

  4. Page Number Position: You can choose where you want your page numbering to appear. For example: Top/Bottom of the page; choose alignment so that it is placed in the centre/right/left.

That's not all. With Bundledocs you also have the ability to apply Bates Numbering. This is particularly helpful for our clients in the U.S. that require this functionality. Better still, bates numbering can also be used if you would like to start your bundle numbering at a particular number. If this sounds like something you may need, then we have detailed just how to do that below. Let's take a look...

Is there a way that I can start numbering for my bundle on a certain number - other than page 1 - in Bundledocs?
— Bundledocs User

If you would like to start page numbering for your bundle on a particular page, then do the following:

  1. Select 'Generate'

  2. Within the 'Bates Numbering' section, select the option to 'Include Bates Page Number'.

  3. Within the 'Bates Start' area, insert the number you would like to begin your page numbering on. For example, insert '23' if you would like to start bundle numbering on page 23. Leave all other fields blank.

  4. Select Generate to complete. A preview window will then appear. If you would like to change anything then simply make the changes/revisions and re-generate.

Customizing your bundle numbering really is simple to do. We know that working on large bundles can be complex so we want to make the process of creating bundles simple for you!
