How to Delete a Bundle

Our support team are sometimes asked, if there’s a quick way to delete a bundle? There sure is and it only takes a few steps. Here’s how it’s done…

  1. Visit Bundledocs via app.bundledocs.com

  2. From the home page, select the ‘Edit Details’ button to the right of your bundle

  3. The ‘Update Bundle’ window will appear. Select the red X in the bottom left of the window

  4. A confirmation window will then appear. If you would like to delete this bundle, confirm by selecting ‘OK’. Your bundle will be instantly deleted from Bundledocs

BUNDLEDOCS INTEGRATION WITH NETDOCUMENTS GETS BETTER & BETTER

In this month’s release we’ve made enhancements to our NetDocuments integration to make it even easier to build bundles, briefs and document sets directly from NetDocuments. Here’s what’s new…

  • Sort Documents in Alphabetical Order. In our latest release it is now possible to order documents in alphabetical order directly from our NetDocuments integration.

  • Sort Documents in Date Order. In addition to being able to sort documents alphabetically, it is now possible to order documents by date. Sort in either ascending or descending order with the click of a button.

  • Add Documents from Multiple File Locations. In our latest release it is now possible to select documents from multiple locations and upload everything at once. Navigate between folders, select any files you want included in the upload and everything is effortlessly moved from NetDocuments directly into your Bundledocs bundle.

BUNDLEDOCS INTRODUCES LABEL ANNOTATIONS

As many of you are aware by now, Bundledocs has an in-built suite of annotation tools, including the ability to completely redact confidential information from a bundle. In this month’s release we’ve made enhancements to our label annotation feature to make it even more powerful. So what’s new?

  • If a label annotation is placed over content, all content will be completely redacted

  • It is now possible to change the font size on a label annotation. Simply double-click on a label annotation to reveal the ‘Reference Area’ window. From here you can adjust the font size, apply a label to the result of content search or simply change the label content.

BUNDLEDOCS CUSTOM INDEX AND MS OFFICE WORD INTEGRATION Roll-out

One of our favourite new feature releases from last year was the introduction of our Custom Indexing. This awesome feature allows you to have complete control over the look and feel of your automatically generated index. No matter what type of index you need to create, it’s possible with Bundledocs.

That’s not all. To help make this feature even better, our team developed a direct integration with Microsoft Office Word allowing you to seamlessly create, update and load your custom index into Bundledocs for generation.

Create Electronic PDF Binders with Tabs

In today’s post we will cover everything you need to know about creating the perfect electronic PDF binder - from what it is, to how to create a PDF binder with tabs using tools like Bundledocs and even how you work with electronic binders once produced.

What is a PDF Binder?

Before we jump into how to create electronic PDF binders, let’s first define what an electronic binder or PDF binder is?

Previously binders would have been produced manually with the paper documents stored in a three ring binder. In contrast, there are now tools available that allow you to create and distribute the binders electronically. In short, a electronic binder is collection of relevant documents that have been merged into a PDF that is fully text searchable, indexed and bookmarked.

Now we’ve a better idea of what an electronic PDF binder is, let’s jump right in and show you how to create an electronic PDF binder with tabs using Bundledocs.

How to Create an Electronic PDF binder with Tabs?

  • Step One: Create a new bundle with the click of a button

  • Step Two: Next add sections. You can create as many sections, sub-section or volumes as needed.

  • Step Three: Once you have created your sections, it’s time to add your documents. You can upload files from any location - including Interactive. Easily search matters, filter folder results and upload single documents or a range of documents at once.

  • Step Four: Once you have uploaded your documents from Interactive, you can finalise any customisations and generate your bundle. There are a range of options available including: adding a custom title page, custom index page, restarting page numbering or applying bates numbering, adding watermarks etc.

  • Step Five: This is the best bit. Bundledocs automatically collates all your documents (regardless of file type) into a single PDF case bundle. It creates a full table of contents/index page that is hyperlinked, your bundle is bookmarked and each page fully paginated. Need to make a change?
